Jeremy?s POV
When the bell finally rang to signal school being more than, I walked slowly, nervously, to the gym where I knew Courtney would be warming up for practice. As I approached the door Jennifer ran out past me. I couldn?t help but believe she was mad at me, but maybe she just had a bad day?.Either way, I had much more important points to worry about correct now.
I walked into the fitness center and saw Courtney standing in a group with her pals. I went and sat inside the bleachers. She didn?t notice me right off, but I wanted her too get to practice. We had been pretty good friends last year, very good enough for me to know that she loved dancing; far more than something. The coach walked in, and known as the girls into formation.
Then Jennifer walked back in. “Sorry I?m late, I just required some air.” She said quietly and got in formation along using the rest of the team. The coach just nodded understandingly in response to her. The music began, it was the song “Always” by Blink-182, which was possibly chosen by Jennifer. As the music continued, all the girls started dancing, and I think Jennifer was the only one who noticed me in the audience. It looked like she was holding back tears. I watched Courtney as she danced; she was amazing. She had natural talent that had been improved through practice. I compared her to the other girls, Jennifer was good but it was obvious she hadn?t practiced nearly as much. Courtney was clearly the most effective, by far.
When the song ended, Jennifer went up to the coach, glanced at me, then went to the locker room. Courtney saw me and paused, “Hey, coach, Can I take a fast break? Just 5 minutes please,” she asked. The coach nodded and Courtney ran up the bleachers and sat by me, “Hey, how are you?” she asked innocently. “I?m excellent I guess. Can we just talk about what you need to say please.” I said attempting not to be rude, but wanting her to get to the point.
“Ok, look?I?m in adore with you. That?s the first thing I desire to say, the second thing is,” She paused and looked away. When I was about to talk, she started to continue, “is that I?m pregnant.” She stated apprehensively with tears in her eyes. I pulled her into a hug and said, “It?s going to be ok.”
Jennifer walked out of the locker room. When she got to the door to exit the fitness center, she turned and looked at me, I could see the hurt in her eyes. Then she left, and I didn?t follow her.
Jennifer?s POV
When I left the fitness center, after seeing Jeremy with Courtney, I called Jay. “Will you please pick up Ellie,” I begged him, holding back my tears. “Of course, what?s wrong?” He asked just by hearing my voice. “I can?t speak about it proper now. I?m going to obtain a ride from Ashley, and go to Jeremy?s and get Ellie?s stuff and mine. Then I?ll go get a hotel room. Do you want to come too?” I asked. “Yeah, how about you ask Ashley to get Ellie and watch her for a bit, I?ll come get you and we can get all of our stuff.” He proposed. I agreed and hung up the telephone. I texted Ashley, my best friend, and asked her to pick up Ellie. She replied saying she was on her way there, so I sat on the curb and waited for Jay.
Jay?s POV
I went straight to the school after Jennifer called. She was sitting on the curb, and stood up when she saw my automobile. When I stopped she crawled in the front seat, and stared straight ahead. I knew far better than to attempt and comfort her appropriate now. She looked devastated. Prior to driving away, I texted Jeremy saying, “I can?t believe you.” I didn?t wait or him to text back, and threw my telephone within the back seat.
Jennifer didn?t say something to me throughout the vehicle ride, or when we got to Jeremy?s house. She went directly upstairs, so I didn?t push her. I could tell she wanted to get out of there as fast as she could. I grabbed my suitcase that I hadn?t unpacked, then went and grabbed Ellie?s stuff. I put almost everything in the vehicle, and went to help Jennifer.
In less than 10 minutes, we had been back within the automobile going to a hotel. Jennifer still hadn?t spoken, so I had to say some thing. “Dad?s getting here tomorrow, so we need to be moving into the house on Saturday.” I stated and Jennifer just looked at me. Then she broke down. “H-how could h-he d-do this t-to-to m-m-me?” She stuttered between sobs. I put my arm over her shoulder, “I don?t know, but he will pay for this.” I stated angrily and kept driving.
Right when we got to the hotel, Jennifer?s phone rang, “Will you answer please,” she stated hesitantly handing me the phone. It was Ashley, I told her I?d pick Ellie up in 20 minutes and hung up. “You can stay here, I?ll take everything inside and register. Then I?ll come back and give you the key, so I can go choose up Ellie. Even though I?m gone it is possible to get us a pizza or something to eat.” I stated and left the car.
Jeremy?s POV
I drove Courtney home after she finished practice, and stayed at her home for a couple of minutes. We nonetheless necessary to finish talking. “So exactly where does this leave us?” She asked as biting into an apple. “Well, I think we should take everything one step at a time. I desire to try and work things out between us, but initial we have to deal with a lot more important points. Do your parents know?” I asked. “My mom does, and I need to keep the baby. I?d like for it to have parents that are together, so I?d like to work items out between us. Do you think we could try dating?” She responded although looking in my eyes.
Jennifer?s POV
When Jay got back to the hotel, I had Chinese food set out on the table. Ellie came running in and I hugged her. “After you eat, in the event you do your homework, how would you like to?.Go Swimming?” I asked her excitedly. “Yeah!” She yelled giving me a hug. These are the moments I live for, with her in my arms, everything seems happier, brighter, and just far better. I sighed as she sat down and began eating. I just watched her eat; I wasn?t hungry after everything that had happened recently. As the night went by, I was zombie-like. Jeremy kept filling my head, and I kept wondering what was going on, but I nonetheless didn?t call him. It wasn?t worth it. I already knew the answer in my heart.
